Gates PowerGrip SB Thermoplastic Hose Clamp

Gates® PowerGrip® SB Clamps are maintenance-free, durable hose clamps that retain dynamic tension for any shape of hose and housing, even on out-of-round fittings and applications, to reliably stop leaks without the need for re-tightening.  Gates PowerGrip® SB® Clamps are made from a heat shrinkable thermoplastic material that provides a dynamic seal and are installed using a standard heat gun.  The environmentally-friendly PowerGrip® SB clamps are designed for a secure, tight fit in extreme operating temperatures to eliminate antifreeze leaks and groundwater contamination.

Heat-sensitive thermoplastic with a memory to prevent over- or under-tightening. Conform to any shape of hose and housing, even out-of-round fittings. Temperature Range: -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to +302°F).

Refer to the Clamp Specifications chart below to determine proper size.

Do not take the clamps off of the cardboard sleeve until the time of installation.

NOTE - If you ever need to take these off, it will take patience. We suggest using a soldering iron to melt through in a straight line from one side to another, taking care not to damage the hose below.  Gates makes a tool to remove these clamps but there are frequent reports that the tool breaks on its first use.
